I’ve been wanting now for several months to get to the “Prison Farm” in East Atlanta. After several email exchanges with Flickr friends we got a group organized to go and were blocked by city employees at the entrance. However, we found a great alternative. This is an old abandoned bank in the same part of town. Enjoy the pictures of Reggie, Aglae, and my Flickr friends. The first picture was taken with my camera, so I had to improvise to look like a photographer (that’s me in the bottom right corner)!

More pics to come…..stay tuned!

Anything is possible…..perhaps even her own mascara commercials one day! This little cutie was so much fun to work with and she was absolutely in love with Rob. Whenever we couldn’t get her to smile we just put Rob in front of her and she just lit up. It was hysterical! Sorry it has been so long since I have updated the blog. I’ve been so busy getting new jobs lined up, editing previous shoots, burning discs for clients, etc. that I’ve fallen behind on the blog. Good news is I have lots of new images to post, so stay tuned!

This Sunday we went to meet a family just south of Atlanta and had a ball. What a fabulous (and gorgeous) family. Birds were chirping, the sun was shining, and the camera was clicking! Thanks so much for a wonderful day guys! We can’t wait to get together again! Here are a few sneak peeks from our session…

I ventured out this past weekend to Nash Farm just 30 miles south of Atlanta. This is the first time I have met the South Atlanta Flickr Organization. What a fantastic location and an incredible group of people. Nash Farm is quiet, beautiful, and filled with endless photographic possibilities. I’m very proud of this last set of photos. Here are the first few edited pieces with our lovely model Rachel.

For any of you that live down south, you know what an ordeal even a forecast of a flurry is…….Imagine the sheer terror when it actually snows 2 inches! We happened to be in Cashiers, NC when the snow started falling and headed outside to let all the dogs play and have fun. Boy, did they ever…….Enjoy the pictures of the pooches, Murphy and Sam.

I’d like to thank Marc Turnley for dragging me on the other side of the camera for once and capturing this shot last night……I have very few pictures of myself with a camera in hand and I love this one! It cracks me up that you can see the mud all over my jeans from laying on my stomach in the road for this shoot (no worries…..it was blocked off from oncoming traffic) .

Hey everyone- Things have been busy around here! I’m trying to decide on a new logo (to be revealed soon) and am learning the conversion from PC to Mac…..I just recently purchased a MacBook Pro. I’ve decided to name her Gwenyth (hey…..if Gwenyth Paltrow can name her daughter Apple I can name my Apple Gwenyth, right?). Gwenyth and I have been hanging out a lot together lately.
Anywho….we had a great time last weekend at Bonnie and Jan’s house. Jan is working on creating some metal sculptures and wanted some pictures for his website, so we played camera last Sunday. It was great hanging out with Bonnie, Jan, and their son Will. They are such a fun and creative family. Bonnie and Jan launched Zenith Design Group together over 10 years ago and have been incredibly successful with their full service marketing company. Enjoy the pics of Jan’s art and of him hamming it up for the camera. He is so easy to photograph…….I love it when people are creative and will tell you what they really want out of their images. It really takes the pressure off of me and ensures that they get what they REALLY want!

This past Saturday I hung out with my friend Deb at the train tracks that are adjacent to her home in Cobb County. Deb had arranged for Aglae (we met her through the Atlanta Photography Guild) to model for us while we played camera. Aglae is one of those strikingly beautiful women that have no idea just how gorgeous they are……she’s such a sweetheart and will be missed. Aglae is moving to California (today actually) to pursue her education. Good luck Aglae!

I honestly consider our meeting Matt and Kelly several months ago some sort of cosmic connection…..we’re having so much fun getting to know them and are having a great time tagging along to photograph the concerts Matt is reviewing for Hidden Track. I went to see my first performance of Keller Williams at the Variety Playhouse this past Saturday night to take some shots to accompany Matt’s article. Keller was incredible…….there are few things that actually make me remove myself from the camera while shooting and stop to say, “Wow”…….I did this several times throughout the evening. I’ve never heard anyone wear out a guitar so beautifully in my life. I highly suggest checking him out the next time he has a show near you! Enjoy a few pictures from the show below and read Matt’s review in Hidden Track here.
