Pardon me for a moment and allow me to completely dork out…….I’m getting ready to go to Zack Arias’s mixer tonight in preparation for the One Light Workshop that starts tomorrow morning. I have been bouncing around ALL WEEK in anticipation. For those of you that are not aware of Zack’s work….shame on you. Zack is an internationally known photographer based out of Atlanta that specializes it music photography and is a LIGHTING GURU. In photography, lighting is…..well…..EVERYTHING. This workshop is a hands on nuts and bolts type of workshop that in Zack’s words, “breaks lighting down into something we can understand and know how to use in practical day to day shooting.” I can’t wait!
I’d like to make a send a special “shout out” to my friend Andy for allowing me to borrow his camera for tomorrow…..my Canon is getting a tune up and was not back in time to take to the workshop. I’ll have plenty of pictures to post after the workshop, but for now I’ll just leave you with a picture of the cutest dog in the world…..in the middle of his afternoon nap….
