Many thanks to the talented Marc Turnley for the above photo…
I have always loved taking pictures. I am the annoying person at a party running around blinding everyone with the flash. My mother is always yelling, “Megan, go grab your camera,” at our family reunions even though her camera is sitting right next to her on the coffee table.
But it wasn’t until a friend got married that I realized I wanted to - had to - do this full time. The bride wanted photos of her putting on her wedding dress, but didn’t want the male photographer to see her halfway undressed. So he handed over his Canon SLR, gave me a 30 second “lesson” and put me to work.
I was hooked.
Just a couple weeks later, I was the proud new owner of a Canon and have been obsessed with it ever since. (My husband, Rob, is understandably a little jealous…and proud.)
Now I see the world through a camera lens – a newborn’s expressive eyes that reflect the shadow of a proud mother…a bead of sweat rolling down a guitarist’s moaning face as he pushes through a soaring solo…the innocent idolization of an obedient puppy awaiting its owner’s command…a fashion model’s strong personality that speaks just as loud as the designer clothing…the same crooked smile that adorns every family member’s face in a holiday picture…
I must admit I have to pinch myself daily because I get to fulfill my passion for photography while documenting others’ experiences. Give me a call soon……let’s create some memories together.
I can be reached via e-mail me at Megan@MeganCase.com. Hope to meet you soon!

Thanks again to Marc Turnley for this image
